It was December 3. Samuel Revenu, CEO of Abraxio, and Arnaud Percie du Sert, CIO of Iserba, hosted Adira’s 15th Café Virtuel on the theme of optimizing CIO management time. On the occasion of the publication of the Cahiers de l’Adira, which compile a season’s worth of CIO contributions to these virtual Cafés, we take a look back at Samuel Revenu’s experience.
It’s time to stop running and learn to walk again!
Samuel Revenu points out (fortunately not irreversibly!) that the amount of time spent by CIO management on managing the activities of an IT department is staggering. Between managing Budgets, suppliers, Projects portfolio…
Time management is a strategic, not to say tactical, issue. On the question of budget management, according to Samuel, “four months is too long to revise a budget! four months is too long to revise a Budgets!”. Knowing how to communicate and explain CIO Projects creates a climate of trust, but it takes time. Excel and Powerpoint, but otherwise no tools… The CIO has no tools to manage his department’s activities!
It was from this questioning that the Abraxio company was born , a platform for CIOs to manage, steer and communicate more effectively, and faster with the aim of productivity, involvement and collaboration.”
Thanks to Adira for this publication.
