Press release
Lyon, February 23, 2023 – Abraxio joins the 1st class of the “Le Grand 8” Program, designed to support local companies as they accelerate their development. This is a promising new step for Abraxio, which has enjoyed rapid growth since its creation, while relying on solid fundamentals.
This Friday, February 24, Abraxio – through its CEO Samuel Revenu – joins the 1st promotion of the Grand 8, alongside 7 other Lyon-based startups preparing to meet the challenges of hypergrowth.
Le Grand 8 is a Program developed jointly by Réseau Entreprendre Rhône, the LYVE platform and the Metropole de Lyon, Cercle Pépites, the CCI and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Its aim is to support the acceleration of promising companies which – in addition to being driven by a strong growth dynamic – combine capital independence and profitability through a proven business model.
In concrete terms, over the next 4 months, the selected entrepreneurs will benefit from tailor-made support, combining experience-sharing with leading experts and co-development workshops to help them tackle the key issues facing companies at the scale-up stage: financing growth, governance, talent & recruitment, business development.
New dimensions and new challenges
Since its creation in 2019, Abraxio – which develops an all-in-one Saas software solution to support IT decision-makers and Teams in managing their business, has experienced accelerated growth, while staying on course for healthy, balanced development.
In the last 24 months:
- Headcount triples,
- Sales X10,
- While maintaining a positive net result, as it has done every year since its creation.
Abraxio’s ambition is commensurate with the potential of its solution and its market: to become the benchmark platform for CIOs to manage their business, and to be adopted by all French IT Departments, i.e. a potential 25,000 SMEs, ETIs and public bodies. But also, as an economic player, to create long-term, sustainable employment with a genuine local base.
Samuel Revenu, CEO of Abraxio: “I’m delighted that Abraxio has been chosen to join this 1st graduating class. The metaphor of the “Big 8” is very apt: the hypergrowth phase we’ve entered is as exhilarating as it is “challenging”: in every aspect of the company (product, recruitment, organization, sales, customer loyalty, etc.), we have to work flat out to keep up with this high-speed acceleration. Being able to step back from this frenetic pace and take a step back from these structuring themes by exchanging ideas with seasoned entrepreneurs who have already taken up these challenges, as well as with experts and other entrepreneurial peers – is bound to be salutary and inspiring, and will enable us to gain time to succeed in this new phase. I’m proud that Abraxio is part of this ecosystem, and that we can count on its dynamism and benevolent view of our growth. “
Acknowledged for the relevance and solidity of its model, Abraxio, which is based at the heart of HUB612, has benefited from the support of Lyon’s entrepreneurial ecosystem right from the start: French Tech Saint-Étienne Lyon, BPI, Lyon Startup and Start-up & Go schemes, and mentoring from Réseau Entreprendre Rhône.
