Lyon, May 23, 2024 – Lyon-based startup Abraxio, founded by three former Chief Information Officers (CIOs), is launching an ambitious recruitment campaign to support its strong growth momentum. Aiming to increase its customer portfolio from 300 to 500 CIOs within a year, Abraxio is strengthening its Teams and announcing the opening of 12 permanent positions at its Lyon site.
Founded in March 2019 by Samuel Revenu, Adrien Coussa and Pierre Thévenon, Abraxio, whose aim is to simplify the daily lives of CIOs and give them the means to be efficient, Agility and collaborative, has rapidly gained momentum. After five positive financial years, the startup now has 26 employees, compared with just 5 at the beginning of 2022. To keep pace with its growth, 12 positions are to be filled in 2024. While the focus is on the Product division (development and innovation), a wide range of Skills and functions are covered, from customer support to sales and marketing.

With 4,500 daily users already, and a medium-term goal of international expansion, Abraxio has already embarked on a new phase of development, accelerating rapidly to become the benchmark for all French CIOs (SMEs, ETIs, public organizations).
A platform designed by former CIOs for their peers
Abraxio’s success is the fruit of the experience gained by its founders in the IT departments of various companies. Confronted with the challenges of digital transformation, they have experienced and identified the obstacles CIOs face in making an effective contribution to organizational performance: difficulties identified within the CIO, such as the lack of dedicated and relevant tools for effective business management, but also in its interactions with the rest of the company, with business contacts often having only a partial understanding of the CIO’s missions and challenges.
It was this disruptive vision, nourished by experience in the field, that led to the creation of Abraxio and the design of an innovative, easy-to-use platform, accessible to all, to simplify the daily lives of CIOs. Launched with our own funds, the SaaS solution was commercialized in less than a year, following a hundred interviews with CIOs and a period of iteration with 12 beta-testing CIOs.
Local roots with meaning
Since its creation, Abraxio has been firmly rooted in its local ecosystem (Lyon Start-up, HUB612, Réseau Entreprendre, Grand8, Adira), reinforced by the recent creation of a high-level strategic committee with local entrepreneurs.
This proximity also prevails in recruitment. All Abraxio employees meet in the Lyon offices to facilitate meetings and exchanges of ideas between teams, and to help build a close-knit, agile team.
