Press release
- On January 13, 2025, Abraxio welcomed its new Product Manager, Maxime Le Calvé.
- In this capacity, he joins Abraxio’s Management Committee.
- A former CIO (25 years’ professional experience, including 16 as CIO), he is no stranger to the solution developed by Abraxio by CIOs for CIOs: he has been a customer for 3 years.
- This new position is designed to accelerate the development of the Abraxio platform, and help a fast-growing product team of around 15 people to expand.
Maxime Le Calvé, 47, takes over as head of Abraxio’s “Product” team. With 25 years’ professional experience, including 16 as CIO, he reinforces the valuable expertise of the company, which is developing a unique management platform through its eponymous application. Its goal: to simplify the day-to-day work of CIOs and empower them to be fully effective, agile, and collaborative.
Going through the looking glass to return to our roots
He explains his decision to join Abraxio: “Having used the Abraxio solution for 3 years, I’m convinced of its relevance and its potential to become the essential reference for any CIO. I’m looking forward to contributing to its evolution alongside a team that truly understands the challenges facing the CIO function. “His choice is that of a professional who believes in a Project and the team behind it.
At the head of a 15-strong Product Teams – product owners, developers and UX/UI designer – he will have a dual mission: to nurture the product vision and to pursue the development of an innovative, high-performance solution for CIOs. At the same time, he will support the growth of his team, which is set to double in size over the next two years.
For Maxime Le Calvé, this new challenge represents a return to his roots:“I wanted to be back in a more ‘hands on’ position, close to production, the Teams and the end result,” he explains.
This appointment also marks an important step for Abraxio. By surrounding himself with another CIO, Samuel Revenu, CEO and co-founder, reinforces the vision of a unique product designed to meet the challenges of information systems departments. The arrival of Maxime Le Calvé is fully in line with Abraxio’s DNA: with a CIO in this key position, the company is further anchoring its action at the heart of CIOs’ daily lives, and reaffirming its ambition to enhance their central role in organizations.
Samuel Revenu, CEO and co-founder of Abraxio, comments: “Maxime’s recruitment is strategic for Abraxio. His CIO experience, which combines business expertise, delivery success, innovation and the ability to unite growing Teams, brings a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and a clear vision for accelerating our product development.”
The story of an enthusiast
Maxime Le Calvé caught the computer bug even before he could read. By the age of 5, he was already handling his first computers with consuming curiosity. At the age of 10, he wrote his first Program, foreshadowing a path that would enable him to turn his passion into a profession.
His career is that of a builder. At VVF Village, where he was CIO for 4 and a half years, he created the IT department from scratch, taking it from 2 to 35 people. At the Centre France La Montagne press group, where he worked for 5? years, he rebuilt and grew the CIO from 60 to 80 employees. Each time, he transformed, structured and developed to support the company’s digital transformation.
A stronger Management Committee to steer expansion
By joining Abraxio’s Executive Committee, Maxime Le Calvé joins a team of experienced managers who know their business inside out, and are able to bring large teams on board to support the company’s strong growth.
This appointment illustrates Abraxio’s determination to continue innovating and expanding, drawing on the expertise of those who know CIOs’ needs best: the CIOs themselves.
